Technical Education & Industry Scenario

Before 1983 very few diploma engineering institutes were in existence in Maharashtra state. There was need of rapid expansion. But due to formation of new colleges, capacity increased very rapidly in the last 4 years, with the major role being played by the private sector. Today, Maharashtra is one of the states in India to prepare a vision 2020 documents. To pursue this goal, it has initiated a series of measures, which were aimed at attracting private Investment to the Institutional Sector in the state. The credit for the development of the core engineering sector and IT industry in M.S. to a large extent goes to top brass of the state.

Automobile and IT has created world class industrial Infrastructure at and around Pune & near Mumbai. The Chemical Engineering industries in and around Raigad District has created tremendous job potential in the entire Raigad district. Various Multi Nationals have established their organizations in and around Mumbai. Various National International Level companies like IBM, Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, Reliance, L&T, Jindal Group, Adani Electricals, Finolex , Tata Power, RCF, Welcome pharmaceuticals, Clarrient, Bhushan steel, Sudarshan Chemicals, Maharashtra seamless etc., have become a boon in the state. The upcoming infrastructural development and various Engineering industries in the state require huge technical man power.

The research ventures are growing fast and high quality qualified personal will come in great demand. The newly set up educational Institution can take up this challenge more easily with the help and guidance of AICTE. In addition to meet the requirements of AICTE, the efforts shall be made to meet International standards from the conception itself.
